Alola was a region filled with hundreds of types of Pokémon. Filling the fields, seas, rivers, mountains, forests and jungles just to name a few of the many ecosystems. This outstanding variety in what is comparatively a very small region has made it a must see for any researcher. People come from all over the world to study the unique Pokémon in the many environments. One of the most unique aspects of this were the mysterious Alolan forms. Variations of Pokémon found across the world. Most of them were Pokémon originally imported from Kanto and over the years have altered to fit the different environments and diets available to them. Altering their types and abilities. This was something specifically looked at by certain professors. The Alolan forms alone are one thing that makes Alola such a unique landscape of study. But some people studied more varied aspects of Pokémon. With the hundreds of Pokémon and environmental factors to study any aspect of research could be conducted.

Akala island's Lush Jungle was the largest in the region. A massive labyrinth of twisting vines and branches from trees several feet thick. Moss covered the ground and trees. Green was everywhere. From grass, leaves, moss and many types of Pokémon in the area. A massive amount of Grass and Bug Pokémon inhabited the twisting vines. But it was not limited to this. There were plenty of Normal, Flying and even Rock Type Pokémon to see and encounter. Swarms of Fomantis scurried away as footsteps approached from the clearing leading onto Route 5. The small bulb like Pokémon scurries quickly on tiny legs with their leaf like arms covering their bodies. A man approached from South. He had dark, almost black eyes and hair. He had his hair tied in the back and a goatee. He wore clear green framed shades and a white cap with a rainbow pattern on it. Grey shorts just past his knees and a green belt covered his lower half with green sandals on his feet. His upper body was covered in just a lab coat and no shirt. This exposed a fit chest of abs and pecs. Tanned olive skin covered him like all people native to the region. His name was Kukui. He was the Alola regions professor and specialized in Pokémon attacks. Being very hands on with his research he would often have himself hit by attacks. This let him experience them first hand. That is what brought him here. With the unique mix of Pokémon around he was hoping to experience some unique moves and see if maybe the environment itself could change the effects of some. Risky business but the enthusiastic and outgoing professor was more then up for it. He was less conventional than most researchers, but this is what made him a top mind in his field.

The cries of several Trumbeak erupted from the trees. Kukui looked up and with his dark shielded eyes saw about six of the Flying Types. Each one was about two feet tall and covered in black feathers. They have a white neck and face with a jagged red band of feathers around the long neck just below the head. Dark blue eyes looked down with pointed black feathers forming a crest on the back of their heads. Their beaks were long and went mostly orange, then red and tipped in black. Their cries were sharp and piercing. Not musical like their pre-evolved form of Pikipek. Their cries were of a defensive nature. This was of course known to Kukui and by design. The Flying Types were defending a food source. One which Kukui could see about thirty feet away. It was a massive tree of Razz Berries. A type of berry with tiny seeds. Kukui grinned at seeing the tree and looked up to the Trumbeak. They cried out and several more came out from nearby trees. Kukui knew that Trumbeak's diet played an important role in one of its attacks. It's Bullet Seed move. Eating fruit, it then stored the seeds in small sacs in its beak which it can then fire at great speed. Kukui was curious if the size of the seed impacted the damage of the move. So, he came to an area where the Trumbeak fed on a certain type of berry for so long exclusively. Having felt some of the largest seeds, that of the Kebia berry with a seed almost an inch long and bullet like he wanted to see how the tiny less than a rice sized piece felt to be hit by.
"Come on. Come on." He says looking up and approaching the tree. He hoped they would feel agitated enough to attack with their Bullet Seed move. If not, then he should get out fast. Or who knows. Maybe he'll learn something from a Peck or Echoed Voice. The Trumbeak flew overhead and with mouths hinged open they let out one final warning cry. As Kukui didn't back away but instead approached the tree they took to the offensive. Five of them converged on him from above and their mouths began shooting tiny bullet like projectiles. Luckily for Kukui this was Bullet Seed. And he'd experience it from five different angles. As a sound similar to a machine gun began to go off around him the seeds started to impact. Each one felt like a faint sting. Something like a small insect bite. Kukui had a big grin on his face which quickly turned to discomfort. The constant barrage of impacts all over his body on both clothing and exposed flesh was starting to hurt. "Ok lighten up guys." He says covering his head and moving back. Trumbeak swooped around like fighter planes and tried to come back for a second shooting run. With his information gotten Kukui made himself scarce. With a long stride he made his way almost free. But the second wave came about as two more fired a barrage of seeds at him. Striking him firmly on his rear and causing him to leap in surprise. As he moved forward on his stride he tripped over one of many roots. Flying forward and tumbling down a hill he was quickly out of their territory. Flipped over and with his legs in the air and lab coat flung forward over his head, exposing his toned flesh as his legs hung up like a fabled sword in stone. After a few seconds his legs fell down and he popped his head up. His cap twisted and head poking from his coat. Blowing it from his face he had a stupid grin on his face. "Seems those I was right. More shots but less damage per seed. Good to know." He says breaking out into a laugh.

"They're amazing. I'm so glad I do this. Woo." The odd professor says rising himself to his feet and brushing his lab coat and straightening his hat. Despite his recent bit of trouble, he was smiling with a wide joyous grin. He took great enjoyment from his work and feeling a move first hand made him appreciate the power behind it. He had several small red marks over his body which were fading. Sweat was moving down his exposed body in the humidity of the jungle. There was something freeing about being in the humid jungle doing his research. Studying Pokémon moves in their full glory. But as he took in the scenery and enjoyed the adrenaline pumping through his veins Kukui didn't notice something watching him nearby. About forty feet away located inside a hollow of a tree was a large creature not quite a Pokémon as you would be familiar with. The creature had a massively long serpentine body. Sleek brown coils with a lighter creamy underbelly and the occasional dark black diamond like shape along it's back. Peeking out of the large hollowed hole were coils were piled up looking like a buildup of wet, brown vines with two glowing yellow orbs of his eyes staring forward with head resting on the coils.
"What a strange one. What a delicious one." The serpent says with a quiet, deep voice. A grin seems to form on the long lips. Pushing out of the tree the long body begins to trail out of the hole. The main body of coils visible doesn't seem to move as the creature slowly slithers out of. Moving down into the foliage below it somehow remained concealed despite being thicker than a Machamp's bicep. Pushing along the ground it made its way to Kukui. The professor was unaware as he exhaled and looked about.
"May need a new lab coat." He says looking it over. There were several holes over the back and numerous patches of mud that had been stained on and the once clean white coat seemed almost grey to brown after that tumble. "Thanks Trumbeak." He calls back and begins walking away. Just to the left of the tree where the large serpent had been.

With the professor making his way ever close to the serpent their distance closed rapidly. Remaining low as it was Kukui didn't notice even as he strolled through the deep green foliage below. They were about fifteen feet away. Each step Kukui took and each push the serpent did shortened it by three feet. With this as it was the time to strike was now. Staying low the deep voice of the stalking serpent reached Kukui's ears.
"Quite the tumble." It says staying low and hidden. Kukui looked over in the general direction.
"Yea it was?" He says confused unable to see anyone. "Someone there?" He had stopped and scanned the shrub line. He couldn't see anyone. Not that he could if they wanted to hide here. Moving through the brush quickly the serpent made a loop around Kukui. About three feet each way from him. Once it looped around the head rose only a few mere feet from the professor.
"Yes, there is someone here." Kukui was taken aback by the creature. It looked like no Pokémon he was aware of but more importantly it could speak English. The cautious part of Kukui's mind, however quiet was ignored behind the scholar within him. The professional who wanted to learn. "You do speak right?" It asks him. Kukui lets off a wide grin.
"Oh yes I do. I'm surprised you can. Never seen a Pokémon that can speak fluent English before." Kukui began to examine the long neck and muscular coils moving into the foliage below. It disappeared behind some ferns to his left.
"But of course, I can. It's so easy. I'm surprised you haven't seen others which can. It's such a useful tool to have. Communication." It smiles and nods. Kukui follows back to its head. Its eyes were striking golden.
"Say. What kinds of moves can you do?" He asks as his natural curiosity and obsession get the better of him.
"Whatever do you mean by 'moves'?" Is the reply. Kukui shakes his head.
"Like attacks." He says anxiously twisting his feet into the dirt like an eager child. "Can you do Bullet Seed, Flamethrower, Iron Tail?" He asks listing some moves. The serpent looked offended.
"Are you afraid I will hurt you? I've only just met you and if I wanted to strike wouldn't I have done it before?" He turns away. "Such silly 'moves' are not my thing." Kukui looked a little ashamed. This creature could speak and thus had intelligence. Frankly it spoke more professionally than he did.
"Oh no I didn't mean like that. I study moves. I love how they work and the amount of them out there to so many Pokémon. So, I want to learn all about them you see." He says waving his arms around. "You see I just want to know to catalog them. But if you can't use any I guess it doesn't matter. Though I've never heard of a Pokémon which can learn no moves before?" He looks a bit confused. Grabbing the corner of his jacket and removing his glasses his cleans a layer of moisture from them. The serpent grins as he performs such a trivial task
"Well there is one thing I can do. I mean if it will help you out I could show you." He says looking back with a friendly grin. A kind and gentle smile you could trust and feel safe in. Kukui smiled as he put his clear glasses back on.
"I'd love to see it! Mind testing it on me if it's not too bad?" He says eagerly running through the list of moves such a creature could have. The serpent nodded.
"That would work perfectly for this technique. Now then. I just need you to keep your eyes open. And focus." Kukui takes a deep breath through his nostrils, flaring his bare chest. Small beads of sweat run down it. "Now then. Just stare." The serpent says as its eyes erupt with numerous colours. From the left pupil blue, then pink and finally green. At the same pace and time, the right went green, then blue and finally pink. Kukui stared in amazement wondering what kind of move it was. Little did he know it would be the final one he would experience.

This was easier than he had expected. Kukui so willingly stared into the entrancing gaze of the serpent without flinching. He willingly accepted the technique without needing to be tricked or manipulated. Well as much as other prey had been. Kukui could feel his mind begin to feel hazy and body start to go limp. A shiver ran up his spine as something felt wrong about this. What kind of attack was it? He wondered as his pupils shrank.
"This feels weird. I feel tired." He says as his dark pupils fade, and the rings begin to mimic in his eyes.
"No need to worry. Just stare and feel my eyes welcoming you into bliss. Feel everything fade away but my wonderful gaze." The serpent says with a faint movement making Kukui follow slightly. Moving his head around. Resistance seemed to be absent from Kukui as his jaw went slack and started to gape. His eyes now copying the marvelous rings of the reptile. Pink, green and blue in his right. While blue, pink and green the left. His now clear glasses seemed to amplify the colours and make them seem somewhat more blinding. His arms tensed for a minute showing his biceps as beads of sweat ran down. Before they went loose and limp. His legs stumbled and be began to lose his footing as he stared. He seemed away and lost. Gazing into the endless bliss presented before him he had no idea how to react. It was as if mind and body were separate. As his legs wobbled the serpent struck. The coils looped around him on the ground sprung up and quickly tightened. A quick squeeze got Kukui's elbows and chest. He gasped as the coils quickly and fiercely encircled him. His eyes shot open and rings slowed for a moment. The serpents head needed to move. Loop around him to tighten the coils before resuming their gaze barely a second later. This delay gave Kukui some reprieve. Enough for his mind to realize he was in trouble.

With his mind back for just enough time he squirmed. The tight coils around his chest, pinning his arms were enough to wake him from his blissful daze. He blinked quickly, and the rings faded. He moved and stared at the coils.
"What're you doing? This seems a little much?" Kukui was starting to think this creature wanted more than just to show him a move. The serpent grimaced as its eyes stopped the rings.
"But you wanted to see my move? This is part of it." It gives Kukui a tight squeeze. Kukui chokes and gasps out air as the coils tighten.
"I think I've seen enough." He says trying to free himself. The serpentine grip shows no sign of wavering but Kukui wasn't defenseless. Feeling the coils wouldn't simply slip off he looked down and seeing the ground below all around smirked. "I'll just show myself out." He says and without warning flings himself back. It looked like a wrestling move. The startled serpent flings forward as his head whips against the ground and Kukui hits the jungle floor. His coils between the professor and the ground were crushed under the man's weight causing the serpent to lose his grip and let out a slight hiss of pain. This was unexpected. Such a tactic to escape. Pushing himself from the limp coils Kukui makes his break for it. The now enraged serpent doesn't let such a prey escape. Kukui was about twenty feet away but pulling back and letting out a great deal of force the serpent sprung towards him. It let out a fierce hiss which caused Kukui to turn and look. This slowed him before freezing him with fear as the large creature slammed into him. His hat and glasses flung away into the foliage as heavy coils began to embrace him. Kukui's eyes started to fill with a cold, clear distress. They went glassy with fear as he struggled to keep the coils off him. His muscles tensed and flexed as he struggled. The muscular coils however began to win. Taking every chance, they got to roll around him. Rolling Kukui along the ground and coiling his body. Currently three thick loops of muscular coils were around his chest. His left arm pinned but right was up and punching the thick coil. He was shocked by the sound. A thump was heard as he hit the serpent. It was like hitting a tire. With legs kicking defiantly he fought on. The look of defiance didn't leave Kukui's face even as he was rolled again. Another look binding his struggling legs at the knees. As his right hand came down again the neck of his opponent went around it. A loop of coil tightly squeezed his wrist holding it above his head.
"Now then. Why don't we end this petty squabble hm?" It says with a victorious grin. Kukui's breathing was heavy and deep. His chest moving beneath the coils. But every time he breathed out they got a little tighter.  Air escaped his lungs as Kukui gasped. His eyes open wide with fear as he realized he had lost. "Now back to our original plan. Look me in the eyes and relax." The serpent says as its eyes erupt with the same colours. Pink, blue and green in one. Blue, green and pink the other. Kukui's blood was pumping at a rapid rate. His heart beating at such speed it felt like it would explode. He smelt strongly of sweat and fear. Something the serpent picked up on as it's tongue flickered.

Staring up into the eyes Kukui felt his fear raddled mind move to halt. The pulsing colours were back and the head attached swayed gently. Kukui moved with it. His pupils shrinking and eyes bursting with the euphoric colours. His eyes quickly mirrored the serpents and flowed at the same speed. All thoughts began to drift away. Lost in the maelstrom storm of colours barraging his thoughts. An endless cycle of pleasure and desire sent through enticing colours the likes of which seemed heavenly. His jaw and body went limp. Loosely hanging the coils began to make their way up his body forming a tight cocoon. Kukui's heart rate dropped. His blood flowed slower and the idea of fear was replaced with tranquility. Rest was finally here. A chance to no longer panic and enjoy.
"Just rest. Sleep and let me take care of you." The serpent says in its almost mystic, otherworldly voice. Kukui couldn't form words to respond. Veins on his neck tensed and bulged as a final bit of resistance tried to flare up. His teeth grinded for a moment before his jaw returned to its loose ad hanging position. He swallowed, and the bulging neck muscles relaxed too. Kukui was finally beaten. His mind now awash with the pleasure of the colour. His mouth formed a smile. A small pleasured smirk as coiled finished embracing him. His hair messy and right arm fully loose. Letting it drop the snake pushed its body along and got a look around Kukui's neck and arm. Pinning it and having him in a vulnerable position. The head stayed still and focused on the professor. Kukui's smile grew and legs seemed to stiffen. This was the final stages of the rings. A great wave of pleasure leaving those exposed in a blissful, joyous state. The serpent grinned as it awaited the final step. Thirteen seconds later it happened. It felt like an echoing ping in their minds. When it hit Kukui's grin became wide and goofy. His messy, mud speckled hair laid there with big flowing eyes above the great grin he was gone. Lost in an endless sea of joy. The serpent stopped its own rings. It had won. A chuckle escaped its mouth. "Such a feisty on. I hope you're worth the trouble." It says tightly squeezing Kukui who can only respond with a faint grunt in his altered state. The two remained on the jungle floor. One basking in a surprisingly hard-earned victory and the other in the bliss of submission. Willing or otherwise. It was finally over. Now it was up for the victor to determine the fate of their prize.

Like all regions in the Pokemon world Alola has it's very own professor. Professor Kukui, a enthusiastic and hands on man studies pokemon moves and how they work. His field work often leads him to being hit by said attacks and such a direct expeience he feels gives him some of the best know how. But there are some moves he may not want to experience. Especially whenthey come from something never before seen by the professor.

A story I wanted to get out over 2 weeks ago but alas delays. Here it is though and I hope you all enjoy ^^
